Life Is An Adventure! ©

This blog started as a place to post information about my book, The Seamstress of Jamestown. I soon realized that the heroine saw life as an adventure. So do I! Not just the wild things, but many of the every day things.

About Me

My photo
Barbara Hettwer
I began writing books after retiring from 35 years of teaching. My first book, The Seamstress of Jamestown is an historical fiction novel based upon a "true" ghost story we discovered on a vacation. I grew up in sunny SoCal and at age 39 moved to the cold rain forest of the foothills of the Oregon Cascades! It was affordable and a great location to ride my horse on endless trails. Perhaps due to the soggy weather & moldy air, in a moment of passion, I married a man with 8 children. Combined with my two, we now have 10 children, 22 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. With my vivid imagination I have about seven more books in my head -- maybe also due to soggy weather.
